SNEAK PEEK : SARAH & TYLER
We’ve always (well, at least I have, Lauren not so much) been iffy about doing destination weddings. They’re a LOT of effort and logistics and making sure you’ve got enough hard drives on you to have a copy of the wedding in every conceivable location. But when Sarah got in touch with us ages ago and asked us to come to Ohio we thought we’d give it a try. Basically the moment we got to our apartment – where Sarah had printed off a million maps and listed all the good places to go, to get food, to get coffee, to do everything (including leaving some quarters for parking etc) we figured destination weddings had the potential to be kind of the best things ever. And by the 13th hour of shooting on the wedding day – as we were completely covered in glitter, along with everyone else – it was probably one of the most amazing wedding experiences, and experiences in general – we’d ever had. Massive props to Sarah & Tyler for making this the easiest thing in the world, to their family and friends for making us feel insanely welcome (like when we were hiding in the corner at the rehearsal dinner because we didn’t know anyone and people asked us to come sit with them and were just the friendliest people ever) and to Nessie for being our surrogate animal to pet while our cats enjoy the house to themselves back in the UK.
