Rather than write something soppy about what an incredible three months we’ve had so far since moving to the UK (which is what happens when Lauren writes) – we’ll keep it simple.
This place fucking rocks.
Bristol is awesome. London is too insane for us but still amazing. The friends we’ve made already kick ass. Our clients have rocked. It’s stupid how quick it is to fly to Europe. We can drive thirty minutes in any direction and find something new and awesome. Or walk five minutes one way to the shops, and five minutes the other way to a river in a forest.
Anyway, we’ve done a lot (by our standards – we’re pretty lazy about leaving the house) – and here’s a bunch of photos from our first few months. Bristol. Lake District. London. Amsterdam. Ohio. And a bunch of places in between.
Mostly all shot on film if you care: because there’s nothing worse than walking around with our huge digital cameras and coming home with 7,000 photos from a walk in the park (there’s a LOT of dogs here to photograph…). Huge props to Canadian Film Lab and Carmencita Film Lab for the scans. And if anybody knows a place in the UK that can calibrate my stupid not-focusing-properly Leica, let me know!
